‘The same but different?’

Paul Benjamin investigates the tribal relationships and design origins of the bags in the four main tribal groups that inhabit southern Persia. It is based on his own collection and includes 24 illustrations of his bags as figures. He will be showing selected examples of these bags on the ORTS visit to Lewes next year (2021) and thought it might be useful to mention this article to attract attendees but also because it should be of general interest to the members. Paul did not deal with this topic in his talk last year, so the bags will not have previously been seen by the members.
