Following Anna Mason’s talk the previous week, the curators of the William Morris Gallery will lead a guided tour of the museum and show the group a selection of textiles from the reserve collection. Then time to explore the galleries and the surrounding Park independently, then enjoy a light lunch in the Gallery’s Tea Room. Numbers strictly restricted to 15 with a £7 tour fee for each member.www.wmgallery.org.uk

Also showing here is the British Museum Touring Exhibition “Social Fabric” which explores how the textiles of eastern and southern Africa mirror the changing times, fashions and tastes of the region.
