Following a career in Higher Education and teacher training, Claude took up weaving, with ikats from India and Central Asia as her main inspiration.
Unlike many members of ORTS whose textile collection is the result of their many travels, Claude’s was put together mostly without leaving London and with a weaver’s technical interest, so her talk is from a maker’s point of view.
